Synopsis
Ce film débute par l'enterrement, au cimetière de Montpellier au lendemain de Noël 1976, de Bertrand MORANE. Bertrand MORANE avait une quarantaine d'années. Il vivait à Montpellier, était ingénieur, mais il cessait de penser à son métier dès qu'il avait franchi la porte du laboratoire où il travaillait, car sa passion était exclusive : la femme, les femmes, toutes les femmes..... Aucune ne le laissait indifférent, il les aimait toutes.... Pour Bertrand, les jambes de femmes étaient des compas qui arpentent en tous sens le globe terrestre, lui donnant son équilibre et son harmonie. Il n'y avait aucun cynisme en lui et ce n'était pas l'esprit sportif qui lui faisait accumuler les aventures. Il éprouvait une émotion véritable en face de chaque nouvelle femme, chacune lui semblait posséder quelque chose d'unique et d'irremplaçable, une promesse de plaisir qu'il ne fallait pas laisser se perdre.......FRANCOIS TRUFFAUT
